Coach Barocas, now in his 30th year as the head coach of the Denver East High School Men’s Lacrosse team, has engineered nine state championships. He has also produced players who have gone on to win a combined eight NCAA National Championships and 28 All-Americans, including Christian Cook, a 1993 Colorado High School All-American, two-time NCAA All-American at Princeton, the 1998 NCAA Defensive Player of the Year and the Major League Lacrosse 2002 Defenseman of the year.

Over the last 15 years he has coached competitive tournament teams featuring MLL and NLL players including Christian Cook, Kyle Harrison, Matt Rewkowski, Benson Irwin, Sean McCarthy, Lou Braun, Matt Nader and Mike Law
