2008 Tubby Smith Basketball Camp Information

All camps directed by University of Minnesota Head Basketball Coach Tubby Smith.
DAY CAMP
June 23-26 Ages: Boys 8-17
Cost: $325
A four-day camp geared to develop and improve their individual basketball skills. The camp is open to all ability levels and will provide a positive and fun teaching environment for all campers. Each day will include intense skill instruction from Minnesota staff and players, along with several live games throughout the camp. The camp hours are 9am-5pm. The last day of camp, campers are dismissed at 12pm.
TEAM CAMP
June 27-29
Ages: High School Boys teams only
Cost: $600
High school team camp will be held at some of the most prestigious facilities in the Twin Cities. The camp will provide competitive experience and learning situations for each team, while also provide the opportunity to meet and play against some of the best teams in the Midwest. The camps will be officiated by experienced referees. Each team must have an adult coach.
EDEN PRAIRIE DAY CAMP
July 22-25
Ages: Boys 8-17
Cost: $365
Coach Smith is taking his summer basketball camp on the road at Eden Prairie High School. The four-day camp will include intense skill instruction from Minnesota staff and players, along with several live games. The camp will focus on enhancing fundamentals basketball skills and is open to all abilities through a series of instructional group teaching environments. The camp hours are 9am - 5pm. The last day of camp, campers will be dismissed at 12pm.
OVERNIGHT CAMP
July 27-July 31
Ages: Boys 9-17
Cost: $455
Coach Tubby Smith and his staff are offering the opportunity for campers to enhance basketball skills and stay overnight with current Golden Gopher players on campus. This camp will include fundamental instruction on shooting, passing, dribbling and rebounding. A five day-four night stay in campus housing at the University of Minnesota with constant adult supervision from camp counselors. REGISTRATION TIME IS 3pm ON SUNDAY JULY 27TH AT TERRITORIAL HALL ON THE CAMPUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA.
FATHER / SON CAMP
August 1-2
Ages: open
Cost: $260 (of $130 per father/$130 per son)
Coach Tubby Smith will offer an overnight camp for fathers and sons that will focus on enhancing their basketball skills together. The camp will provide tools to become better players and motivate enthusiasm for the game of basketball. A son may enroll in the Father/Son camp with a personal male guardian or friend of the family. Registration is 5pm on Friday, Aug 1. Campers are dismissed at 12pm on Saturday, Aug 2.
